Louis specialises in tax and exchange control matters (mainly in a South African context) and has built up a unique skill set over the years. After completing his Master’s degree in tax at the University of Pretoria, he became a candidate attorney at one of the Big 5 South African law firms and was then retained as an associate in its Tax and Exchange Control Department after his admission as an attorney. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2020 and remained there until October 2024 when he joined the Renmere team.
